Causes and Awareness

Since the name of our brand is Chibi, which means small in Japanese, its only natural we would want to help those who are smaller than us like young children who are unable to fend for themselves. Some might think, “well you can just donate, there is not point in doing it through a product”, that is true, but it isolates the number of people who are aware of charity organizations. With a product, like our jewelry pieces, there is a physical manifestation of the cause, what it represents and how it helps.

Chibi Jewels is very proud to donate the profits for these pieces to their organizations.

The Littlest Lamb Organization was created to better the state of orphanages in Cairo, Egypt. They have built facilities and buildings that provide education, medical care and parent figures for children without.
“The Littlest Lamb Orphanage will house nearly 200 children in a 90,000 square foot home complete with recreational facilities, study rooms, dining areas, outdoor play spaces and everything a child could need or want.”
Our “Flower of Life” Necklace is a simple brass charm suspended on red silk thread. It’s a simple gesture.

SONY DSCThe Jodie O’Shea Orphanage is located in Bali, Indonesia and established after seeing the deplorable conditions of the current orphanages there. They help provide housing, schooling and safety for the children.
“In their new home our children are embracing a life they have never known – a healthy diet, an education, being nurtured and cared for and having the freedom to simply be children.”
We have created a series of charms based on the drawings of the children: Bear, Pig, Cat, Seal, Lizard, Kangaroo, Ladybug and Cow. You can wear them as a bracelet, cord bracelet or necklace.

SONY DSCThe Ashinaga foundation was created 40 years ago and its message for nurturing and helping our future leaders is still going strong. After the devastating earthquakes and tsunami in Japan which rendered many children without homes, they have focused their attentions on provide emotion support, programs and housing for these children.
With this inspiring foundations ability to help those with dreams for a brighter future, we created an Ashinaga charm of a sun and rainbow, symbols of hope, and the word “dream” engraved in the back, suspended on a simple cord bracelet.

Chibi Jewels is proud to be a sponsor for these organizations that nurture the children, our future, in becoming the bright leaders they are meant to be. The profits for each jewelry piece is given to these worthy causes.
